Are you disappointed when a CD doesn't have liner notes?
When I buy a CD and discover that it doesn't have extensive liner notes, I get a little agitated. It especially bothers me when the CD booklet consists of nothing but the front cover and the back cover (with a blank inside).

I like big, thick CD booklets, with lots of liner notes so I have something to read. :P How about you?

1. I'm with you.
I like reading liner notes so I can glean who some of the band's influences are (if I don't know), songwriter information, and just general useless information. Makes me feel like I know the band a little bit.

3. Especially when there aren't musician's credits
Although I hate it when the notes are just a rundown of what each song is like. As in--"The song opens in a quick tempo with a short trumpet solo by..."
Ususlly found on a jazz CD. What a waste of paper.
