Should I call the cops on my neighbors?

they are having a party or something up there. I can hear the music, if you can call it that. It is past quiet hours (city ordinance is 10 pm) so they will come out. My neighbors are complete assholes, calling the cops on me for music being too loud and yet they do it all the damn time. I also think there are more than two people living up there, which is illegal and against occupancy rules for a one-bedroom apartment. I so want to bust these assholes.

Oh, and I have to work tomorrow too so I can't stay up too late.

1. I wouldn't but I know a lot of people will tell you to do so.

Are they typically loud? If so, then yeah call. But if not, let them have this.

3. Well they've been partying the last couple of weekends

actually it isn't very loud now. I can probably sleep with the fans on which will drown it out.

and maybe someone else will do it.
