1. I built this one in 2002, but I've upgraded it. However, I have posted here from
an Atari ST, a 1040, from 1986. That was a while back. I do regularly post from a 6-year-old laptop though.

5. Well, speakers *are* the heart
of any computer system.

6. Not me, but my dad still has his Mac IIsi from 1991.
He's not a DUer, but the fact that that computer still works is something I find amazing. He's an astronomer by trade, so he also has a Powerbook to do...you know...everything. :P

10. Yep!!
I remember it used to crash constantly when I first got it, but it must have downloaded enough fixes for ME that I don't have the problem any more.

It does slow down something godawful after it's been on for a couple hours, though. I reboot it about every three hours.

The only thing wrong is the DVD player won't go more than about 20 minutes, and I had to replace the hard drive a couple years ago. I installed the new harddrive with velcro almost three years ago, and it's still kickin', even after about 50,000 air miles.

11. 1999 Compaq laptop running Windows 98 (on dial up)...
And as if that's not enough....A few summers ago I left it in the car and fried the screen...so now the keyboard part is hooked up to a huge old-fashioned monitor. No printer either. But, it works for me.
