grrr.... Trader Joes
Edited on Sun Feb-25-07 12:46 AM by MonkeyFunk
bought two bags of stuff. He put all the heavy stuff in one bag, and all the light stuff in another. I didn't notice cuz there were two of us, we each took a bag (I got the light one).

The handle on the heavy bag broke, and now I'm down one bottle of yummy Ace Pear Cider. Luckily, we bought three bottles - it's all they had left. We had two, and I said, ah, let's just the grab the last one.

I'm prescient.

4. That's why I bag my own. In my own reusable bags.
Never had a canvas bag break. And at my TJ, BYOB qualifies you to win free groceries.

with enough time and counseling. Thanks for your concern.

Actually, it was sort of a jokey distraction from last night's lounge drama, not that you should've known that. But stranger-snark is the best kind. :hi:

7. Trader Joes has great reusable bags.
You can stuff the contents of three plastic bags into one of the reusable bags.

8. We've got a canvas Trader Joe's bag
That we bought two years ago - Can pack in more stuff than one person can actually carry.

I think they modelled it on the LL Bean bag.

Heavy duty canvas shopping bags rock - and most places like TJ's and WholePaycheck give you pennies off for bringing your own.
