3. What's surprising is that the article refers to the 55% as having
strange minds; shouldn't that be the 45%?

Hell, I admit to having a strange mind, so I don't care.

10. Yes, oddly enough...
I can.

I can also be strapped upside down on a swinging spinning couch and point to various color patterns.
A skill rarely required in the office environment, but, great fun at parties. :D

And it's a good illustration of why one should never proofread their own work if they're a writer. The mind tends to really skim over errors when you already know what it's supposed to say. :hi:

17. Yup - can read it no problem...
Can also read upside down and backwards - comes from years of being a teacher and looking at students' papers from over a desk. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! (Can also write upside down and backwards - my wierd skill of the day) ;)

Does that qualify my mind as FUBAR? :)

19. FUBAR it is, on the basis of "Can also write upside down and
backwards."

You have an exceedingly strange mind, and I'll wager your students fear you. :)

23. Not sure about fear - stun is usually closer...
As in "How'd she do that!?" or "How'd she know that!?" For the past 15 years my "students" have been senior level corporate executives. While the pay is a lot better in this world, the kids were more fun. But you'd be surprised at the interesting things I've learned with this exceedingly odd "skill." !!

I can read it just as fast as I can something that is in proper order. Is there a name for this? The mind is a truly weird and wonderful machine, even if it needs a tweak every once in a while.

Just a side note, I wonder if this technique could be used to defeat certain data mining computer programs (i.e. Eschalon, Carnivore, etc)

Is there a program that can mix up the letters, or do we have to do it the long way?
