The Wainwright's - Loudon, Rufus, and Martha
I've been listening to "Last Man on Earth" this afternoon. I love his story telling lyrics. I haven't listened to this cd in a couple years and it made me appreciate it all over again. It also made me curious about his very talented family.

What about Rufus? I don't own any of his music, but after listening to a little taste on the computer he sounds like a very interesting singer/songwriter. Should I start with "Want One" and "Want Two"?

And what about Martha?

Someone, please educate me.

4. I've got the amazon sampler of that going as we speak.
I really like his voice. Reminds me a bit of his father's, only edgier.

Thanks, Rev_Acts! :hi:

5. It's a great CD, so is his first CD, it's self titled.
I think Rufus is amazing and you can't really go wrong with him though. I don't know much about Martha though. I just have a couple of her songs loaded on my music player. I do adore her duet with Snow Patrol, "Set The Fire To The Third Bar." :D

6. I just pressed my one click button for "Poses"
$9.97 and free shipping. It will be delivered to my back porch by Tuesday.

I am really fascinated with "Want One" and "Want Two", but I'm going to let this take a natural course, and I trust your judgment.

There's something about these second generational artist's families. Tim and Jeff Buckley, Bob and Jakob Dylan, and Loudon and Rufus Wainwright. I'm really glad I pulled out my Loudon CD today.
