one of the wierdest things i've ever seen- a few years back, a snowy saturday night in february, we had just left the white castle at hollywood&clark in chicago, heading south...a police car with lights flashing and siren blaring was coming north on clark, so i pulled over to the side of the road...as the cop car sped past- it was an all white sedan, and on the side it said: Postal Police.

before that point, i had never even known that there was such a thing as the postal police- and i STILL have NO IDEA as to why they need squad cars with lights and sirens- OR- what the hell kind of a postal emergency call could they have been responding to at 10:30pm on a saturday night in february...?
