Oh boy - here's something new for our entertainment: Conservapedia
http://www.conservapedia.com/

A conservative encyclopedia you can trust.

Conservapedia has over 3,800 educational, clean and concise entries on historical, scientific, legal, and economic topics, as well as more than 350 lectures and term lists. There have been over 545,000 page views and over 15,500 page edits. Already Conservapedia has become one of the largest user-controlled free encyclopedias on the internet. This site is growing rapidly.

Conservapedia is a much-needed alternative to Wikipedia, which is increasingly anti-Christian and anti-American. On Wikipedia, many of the dates are provided in the anti-Christian "C.E." instead of "A.D.", which Conservapedia uses. Christianity receives no credit for the great advances and discoveries it inspired, such as those of the Renaissance. Read a list of many Examples of Bias in Wikipedia.

Conservapedia is an online resource and meeting place where we favor Christianity and America. Conservapedia has easy-to-use indexes to facilitate review of topics. You will much prefer using Conservapedia compared to Wikipedia if you want concise answers free of "political correctness".

Contributions that comply with simple commandments are respected (and improved) to the maximum extent possible. Please improve this website as you use it, and please cite your sources. With your help, Conservapedia will continue to be an online encyclopedia you can trust. This is also a meeting place, and appropriate questions may be posted at Ask questions.

4. The "anti-Christian" CE? For fuck's sake, most Christians use it.
It was pretty much Christians who came up with it.

We used it in seminary. Most scholarly work done by Christians uses it.

5. If the nutjobs keep isolating themselves like this.

Fox News, this, anything to avoid contact with any idea that differs from their indoctrination, do you think that at one point they'll just stay the fuck away from us? Here's hoping.

6. Perhaps...
but it marks a far more interesting fundamental shift as well. They're withdrawing from the common field because they have reached a point of no possible victory in the "Culture War". Liberalism will carry the day, as it always does and has. They can't win so they withdraw and do their "exclude the rest of us clique" thing

Gay marriage, Civil Liberties, Pacifism, Jesus-hating and state-funded Abortions for all! (Can you feel the collective shudder that went down the spine of every Freeper lurker. How funny that much of the above is beyond even what Democrats actually want, despite what the vast Right-wing Loony-bin believes?)

7. Their own news, their own articles, their own museums
and, I'm certain, their own schools and lots of home schooling. I just hope their weight in the world will decrease along with their participation to it.

8. Look around there a little, trolls are at work

Something Awful named it the Awful Site of the Day recently, so the green light is on.

edit: In Bill Clinton's entry, we get this:

Bill Clinton managed to serve two terms without botching the prosecution of two wars, manipulating intelligence, engaging in a systematic program of torture, or mishandling the federal response to flooding of a major American city. Obviously, he is the devil incarnate.
