Although the Canadian Governor-General is a de facto Head of State.

When Canada becomes a republic at some point, it'll likely be a matter of converting the duties of the Governor-General into Presidential duties.

4. Not strictly
unless either of their parents is a British citizen. It did used to be the case that there was a single Commonwealth citizenship but this was removed when Britain joined what was then the European Community in the 1970s.

Canada and the United Kingdom are separate countries that share a Head of State.
