4. Hi CaliforniaPeggy! Here is a listing of some street painting festivals

I guess it's one advantage to the predictably dry summers of California, one's art wouldn't get rained on. I've been to the one in San Rafael, but, as in every event around there, you feel like a pinball bumping through the crowd. ;)

I had thought that the illusion would look strange approached from the other side, but it is very effective from the camera vantage point. It was interesting to see the earth "Make Poverty History" art from two angles so the method can be appreciated.
