"Nosferatu Man"- Slint
Ok, here's where I expose my pathetic O.G. indie cred; I own 2 sealed copies of the original pressings of Slint's "Spiderland" (the "This album is meant to be played on vinyl" was the 2nd pressing)that I've hoarded for 15 years, never to be opened.

Spiderland is one of the 10 greatest records ever made IMO, and "Nosferatu Man" alone is responsible for at least 3 different sub-genres in indie rock, as well as being a classic song:

Never saw them live, and it's one of my biggest regrets..

What a song, and it sounds as otherwordly as anything Joy Division ever did. Ethan Bucker has got to be one of the best drummers in the past 20 years; his playing is so precise, yet explodes at just the right moments, especially on this...
