Dear Lounge: Sorry to disappoint you. But the ring i finally picked for Rockit

is different from the ones i had shown you guys last week.

we spoke about it at length and realized that the rings i picked were too much like wedding bands and not engagement rings.

Hopefully you guys will like this ring: its titanium with a black diamond.

11. i can give you a website address. they are pretty cheap as far as jewellery goes.

i wanted her to have titanium since she works with her hands and gold would get scratched too easily

9. What an interesting selection! That ring says the wearer is someone special!

I chose an aquamarine for my ring years ago which was a lot easier on my husband to be than a diamond would ever have been. It turned out to be a good precedent; my daughter asked her fiance for a pink Sapphire. He was relieved to be carrying on a family tradition to eschew something more expensive, he's paying off student loans!

Just be careful with the wedding band; if it's not titanium, one band will wear the other away. I ended up having my engagement band and wedding band soldered together because the engagement band was wearing away.

The black diamond I'm sure stands out much better with a different background (like on a finger). When you get it, post a pic of it on so that rock will stand out!
