1. It's kinda nice... I once heard "I Wanna Be Sedated" covered by a bluegrass band!
That's the great thing about covers: they can go in any direction -- and sometimes they rock, and sometimes they suck, and sometimes they hardly resemble the original, and sometimes, SOMETIMES, they're actually BETTER than the original (e.g., Colin Meloy's "When Ye Go Away" by the Waterboys).

7. I only heard the Dylan thing for the first time today. My sister sent me the link.
She just knew I'd love it, and of course, I did.

But speaking of weird, I just dusted off my copy of The Presidents of the United States of America CD today for the first time in like 10 years.

Best line: "you seem cool for a naked chick in a booth."

10. I envy people who are good at finger picking
Never was myself. Oh hell I sucked playing guitar but it was cool and fun. His voice is way way too high for that. It just....might work for someone else done slow and soft, but not him.
