2. Nobody bakes a cake as tasty as a Tastykake.

My husband is from Ohio and has never heard of them. Fortunately, I was raised in South Jersey. I feel sorry for him that he didn't grow-up with them.

I don't even consider Tastycake stuff to be real food. I place it in the same category as dunkin donuts and McDonalds. Artery cloggers of the highest order.

8. What about the problem of the icing coming off with the cellophane wrapper?
I bet Butterscotch Krimpets can't solve that! Unless you just eat more Krimpets, but there's no guarantee that the icing won't come off with their wrapper, either.

10. But the Solution is using your fingre to scrap off all that icing...
...after the kake part has been eating. It's the best thing about a Tastykake

13. I remember when TastyKakes were wrapped in waxed paper.
And the icing was really thick on the chocolate cupcakes so some of it was always on the waxed paper just waiting to be licked off. ahhhh... those were the days!! :loveya:

11. You rub the package, icing-side down, against a flat surface first
before you open them. Then it will stick!

16. Wow! Somebody else knows that trick!
I haven't had a Tasty Kake in years, so my system should almost be purged of all of the chemicals and preservatives. They're mighty tasty, tho!

15. OMG. Is this taking me on a trip down memory lane.
I remember my dad's favorite was the butterscotch Krimpets with a big, cold glass of milk.

17. Could Tastykakes fix Ohio's election problems...
...and our corrupt Workers' Compensation system if they were sold in Ohio?
