I've never heard of positivity being the goal of honesty. If I honestly dislike someone, or more likely their behavior, what positivity can i achieve? I'm ok with not liking certain people, and there is a legion out there who don't like me. No problem though, I'm a big girl. :)

people around here have their chests puffed up all the time with no interest in actually thinking about anything from anyone else's point of view. It's really irritating, and certainly makes me want to post a whole lot less.

19. It's cyclical. When I was a mod, I saw it quite a bit.
People get in spats, it boils over to the board and then before you know it everyone is friends again.

Plus, it's been kind of stressful watching what the Democratic Congress is going to do. You can feel the tension in GD and GD-P about it.

Even in here, lately. Most of the posts in the lounge are innocuous in nature and still brew haha's erupt over the tiniest things. I know people are opinionated but what ever happened to 'live and let live'. I try to leave my judgments for the important things.

When I see a hot thread, it more often than should be, means that there is a flame war brewing. My nature is not to be confrontational or combative unless it is an issue that means a lot to me.
