I bought my first car today!!!

All my driving life I have had nothing but hand me downs so this was the FIRST time I've actually puchased my own car. I was driving a crappy old SUV but now I'm the proud owner of a 2006 MINI Cooper convertible. :D She's red with a black ragtop and I call her my ladybug. I'll post a pic of her after my camera is charged but until then, this is almost what she looks like...but without the white logo thing on the door of course:

3. She's short! LIKE ME!

I've been giggling like a stupid school girl all damn day. Paul is still making fun of me because for years I would tell him that I'm just not a "car person" and I would always roll my eyes at the suckers who spent hours washing their cars on the weekend...I'm suddenly turning into one of those people.

On the practical side, it gets great mileage (27/35) and I don't have to worry about parking spots.

5. Things are pretty good!

Fighting off a spring cold, but otherwise ok.

A buddy of mine bought his wife one of those. I rode in it once. Front seat, fine. Rear seat, torture. ;)

6. I like knowing that I'll never have to sit in the back

as for the spring cold, I have had incredible success with the herbal supplement "Immuno-Shield". I use to catch every cold available (especially after Abby started school) but now I don't. I got it from Whole Foods and I highly recommend it.
