Will Antonella get kicked off of American Idol tonight?

I'd hate to see her go. She's provided the entertainment factor for this season (not much personality with anyone else in this season's picks, in my opinion). The only reason we are watching this year is to watch her bomb songs and then pop off at Simon. (She actually thinks that her talent is comparible to Jennifer Hudson. She obviously can't hear herself sing.)

She sings for shit. She seems to be tone deaf. I think it would be terribly funny if she were to win this season. And she just might...

I think she's going to make it to the final 12.

It would be shame to see Antonella take up a spot that one of the more deserving singers should get. And I don't want to have to hear her sing ever again.
She's had her 15 min of fame. It's time for her to go home.

I think she's the best singer ever on AI! I would so like her to win.

She has a great voice...I'd buy her album today (and I've never bought an American Idol album) if she recorded one.

And no matter how full of it Simon is, everybody loves getting a compliment from him.

From what I've read, she's a real bitch to other girls on the show. No one likes her. Simon did everything within his power to discourage people from voting for her last night, but dialidol has her in fourth place out of eight.

I think people are voting for her because they want her to win, because it would be funny for someone so tone deaf to win.

in the last few years theres been a movement of people who dont like the show, to vote for the worst person. Kind of an odd way to protest it and throw a wrench in the works.

I think that it's a populist backlash against reality shows and trashtainment.

They say that it's because Antonella's photos were "private" and "not meant to be shared." And that Frenchie's photos were paid for, to be used on a porn site (Frenchie's photos were never posted on that site, though).

Private my ass. She posed in the fountain at the WWII monument. She also posed in a classroom after-hours.

They kicked off one guy this year because he refused to cut his beard. They keep the ones they want and kick off the ones they don't like, and they use technicalities to do it.

I hope they get what they bargained for...I really hope that Antonella wins this year. (I wish that Melinda weren't so good--she's the only one I would truly love to see win--but oh the fun factor if Antonella wins.) The judges picked her. The judges protected her. And that pissed off the voters, who I think are trying to actually put Antonella in as winner to pay back the judges. Let them celebrate her if she wins.

Antonella's pics were candid and put on the internet by a friend or ex boyfriend. She had little to do with it.

The woman who went on to Rent got paid for her pics, and gave permission to be used on a porn website.

except for the BJ photos, I think that she leaked them for attention and a self-manufactured excuse for sympathy. I think she did it herself.

I don't think that she expected the BJ photos to be leaked (some claim that it's not her--but it looks like her to me).

personally, I dont think shes bright enough to do that. just my opinion. she *really* thinks she can sing, just listen to her comments last night.

but some other theories:

1 - the photos were posted by an ex-boyfriend

2 - the photos were posted by the girlfriend she auditioned with, who didnt make the cut

3 - Fox knew about the photos, and let her into the final 24 because of the publicity. Remember, they went public on a Friday, and were talked about all weekend by the media, while the show runs Tues-Wed-Thu.

She has been picking songs that haven't made a great impact on the judges.

She should stick to her day and nightie jobs.

They were the worst two of the women. The men I think should leave are Sanjaya and Phil.

And Melinda is too damn good for Idol. She doesn't need it - she's already a pro who could go to superstardom. I LOVE her! I see her as winning, if talent comes out on top.

Although Blake (beat-box boy) has a great voice, he annoys the absolute crap out of me! I like Brandon and Chris (with the long curly hair) best.

Haley is AWFUL!!!! What did she sing? Anyway, they are both way out of their league! And so is Sanjay (sp?). They all HAVE TO GO!

I heard that the Girls Gone Wild guy offered Antonella $250,000 to host some show. :shrug:
