Ugh, 102 degree fever and my busiest week at work coming up
It's Murphy's law again. I have my busiest week in months coming up at work and I'm hit with a 102 degree fever today. I'm probably going to have to work from home tomorrow, which is probably not ideal for recovering. Bleah. Anyone have any suggestions with how to deal with a fever and serious work demands at the same time?

1. Do you have a recliner or a rolling or TV tray table?
Was very sick a few years back...fever staying at 102-104...turned out it was pneumonia...

Anyway...had to do some work, so I pulled my recliner up to my computer table, put the keyboard on my lap, and worked in between resting/napping. After a while that got uncomfortable, so I swithed to using the laptop, and put it on a TV tray table. It was easy to move up to beside my bed or recliner, so I could work for small bits of time while I could stand sitting up and not getting dizzy or yucky feeling.

Sorry you are ill. Hope it passes quickly

2. I would take a shower now, just warm enough to be relaxing,
then take a tylenol and go to bed. As you sleep tonight your body's defense system will be hard at work. Sleep as much as you can, and drink a lot of water, juice, etc., tomorrow. Anytime you feel like napping, listen to your body.
