27. Syracuse was screwn

but at least they're in the NIT. Akron was 26-7, won their division, and was a lucky shot away from winning the conference tourney. They didn't even get an NIT berth and though the MAC did get an at-large team in but it was Toledo, not Akron.

First tip coming at 12:20 ET, between #13 Davidson and #4 Maryland. That's the game I get in my region.

#7 Boston College vs. #10 Texas Tech, and #6 Louisville vs. #11 Stanford follow shortly thereafter.

I picked Maryland and Louisville as favorites, but went with Bob Knight's Texas Tech Red Raiders in the upset.
