Ok this extra daylight thing is freaking me out!
It's bright as hell in my room right now and I just looked down at the time and it's already 6:30!?! I gotta start dinner in a few minutes!

1. We didn't eat until about 7:30 last night, and the kids were up until nearly 10.
Our internal clocks are off.

I don't usually have trouble adjusting, but I think I'm thrown off by how early in the year we made the change.

2. It's gotta be the early in the year thing...
I wasn't hungry for lunch at the normal time today and I'm certainly not ready for dinner yet. My body needs to regulate and soon!

3. It takes me a good couple months
to get used to it. Wish they could just leave it alone. One way or another.

5. Noooooo Celebrate the fact that life extends beyond 17:00
Get outside, kick up your heels and celebrate the arrival of Spring. Then sleep in an extra hour in the morning as it's dark until almost 7 now.

6. What does the government have against daylight in the morning?

I think Daylight "Savings" Time sucks. I'd rather get up early and be able to enjoy an hour of daylight at home when I'm fresh than have another hour of daylight forced upon me during "prime time" TV time.

A government that wants you to get up when it's dark and go to bed when it's light is fucked up.

7. You must be a morning person....
As a night-owl, I love the extra hour of light in the evening. An extra hour in the morning is totally wasted for me.

I probably could have waited another two weeks for it, though. 'Not sure why it was moved up...

11. There's nothing like enjoying the birds and the quiet in the morning

Evening daylight is a waste of time, since I've already put in my day.

10. I'd rather do it in the morning when I'm fresh

After I've put in another day of slaving for the man I'm tired, thanks to the government intervening in the wake-up and go-to-bed times.
