Back from my job interview.
I think it went OK, but don't know if I should be disappointed (they didn't ask for my references).

The people seemed nice; didn't seem too wary about my last job situation (let go after 4 mos. without being given a reason other than "not a good reason."). They seemed impressed with my portfolio and the work is similar to what I've done for the past 10 years. I was told I was the second person being interviewed and they were interviewed a few others. I was also told I'd be informed of what was going on in a few days.

While I feel good about the interview, I'm not holding my breath. I've been down this road before; on to the next resume/application.

2. Sounds promising
Stick with it. Able bodies are still needed all over and I am sure you are beyond that description.

4. Send a Thank You note for the interview!
Via snail mail not e-mail!

Sometimes that helps keep you on their mind! ;)

They should have your references in your portfolio, shouldn't they?

Good luck! Hope you get it!

5. I was going to send thank you notes via regular mail not email.
Before I met with the CEO and Director of Sales, the recruiter saw me first and said, "Here are the email addresses of the people you'll be meeting with if you want to send thank you letters." I thought it was a little weird as 1) of course I would send thank you letters and 2) I usually send them via snail mail, but given the type of company I interviewed with (technology), it didn't seem too out of the ordinary. I also wrote her a letter. I saw that the CEO and Sales Director opened the emails (I wrote the letters within an hour and 1/2 of the interview ending).

Thank you for the good luck wishes! :)
