I look at it like this: He has been doing his thing for all that time. He can't even pick up the phone for five minutes to say, "Hey," ""how ya doin," or "Kiss my ass!" Nothing! After seven years!
But it takes way too much energy to be pissed off or mad about it. He is doin him and I am starting to do me!

BTW, just smack SPK upside the head a couple times and he will calm down. :)

But when I think about it, when I was younger than you, I was a bitter, sarcastic, angry young man. I'd just sobered up from alcohol and other substances and I hadn't gotten into them because I was having such a great time growing up myself.

I have the devil's luck, myself.

Started a job hunt ages ago and can't so much as get arrested in this town. Got career counseling and a lot of advice from people who make more than I do, and when I put their advice into practice, things took a nosedive rather than improving.

Current job -- I'll spare you the fun details, but suffice it to say it's an issue.

Less than 48 hours before I was supposed to go to the theater with a friend (an event I was very much looking forward to for over a month), she e-mails me and throws a monkey wrench in the proceedings, likely causing me to be out money I can't afford to throw away.

Friends keep moving out of town, to other coasts and other countries.

Even politics is no longer fun for me.

And a good deal (or bad deal) more.

I've felt more pessimistic than I ever have in my entire life, and I know from pessimism!

Oddly enough, St. Patrick's Day isn't the problem. Go figure.

I've been thinking about life and I'm not happy with where I am at my age. I've also been thinking about my last relationship and feeling a lot more anger now than before for some reason. I've had a couple IT interviews in the last couple of weeks, but they were very disappointing. However, I got elected as a delegate in January and will be going to the Democratic State Convention in April, so I'm looking forward to that! My sister's getting married in April as well, so it will be an eventful month.

I'm trying to think of a new career aspiration; because I'm feeling like a loser in my field. I want to make more money. And I'd prefer not to work with people who are cliquish, and are willing to stand by and watch knives get hurled into your back, if they aren't chucking them personally.

I may change my mind next week, though; because I'm a fickle loser.

Got maybe 4 hours of sleep everynight but had lots of fun.

I am so tired I can't sleep.

Cuz I'm a loser baby..... *sigh*

The highlight of my week was going to job #2 to pick up my paycheck while running an errand for job #1...lol.
