California cows ain't so happy now, are they?
http://greenbaypressgazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070320/GPG06/703200500/1269/GPGopinion

California cows probably aren't all smiles after the thumping they took at the 2007 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest held last week in Milwaukee.

Wisconsin cows took first place in 32 of the 53 judged categories of cheeses at the annual event sponsored by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association. Among the champs were a number of cheese produced here in Northeastern Wisconsin.

By contrast, California captured only four first-place awards. New York was second with five first-place cheeses.

Recently, the California Milk Advisory Board has been running some television commercials claiming its cheese tastes better because its cows are happier.

How now brown cow?

3. Yes, now they're all headed back home to face the insufferable
working conditions in California.

Poor things.

I still don't even know if our orange juice tastes better than Florida's.

4. Uh, the contest looks a little skewed to me...
Considering it was held in Wisconsin and judged by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association.
