Poor Rockit had Dental Surgery...

picked her up after surgery ...took a cab..dropped her home..and just got back into work.

:(

poor thing is in so much pain :(

16. When I had my wisdom teeth out, my novacain wore off rapidly

they cut all four out in one sitting, numbing me beforehand. After cutting the first one out, they had to renumb me for each of the last three. Within a half hour after they were removed, I was in pain and wasn't suppopsed to take pain medication for the next couple hours.
Anyway, I hope that you tolerate the pain pills and that they work well for you and that you make a full recovery soon.

8. Make sure she drinks lots and lots of water with it

b/c it can cause MAJOR constipation, as a side effect. Trust me, I know. :hurts:

25. Wow, you're up and around already!

Last time I had oral surgery, I couldn't see straight enough to post anything other than total gibberish in an IM to a friend. Hell, took me a couple of days before I even felt well enough to do much more than stare at the screen for hours and lurk. You must be one strong woman!

How long did they have her jaw propped open for? When I had my wisdom teeth pulled last August, my jaw was wedged really wide for just an hour, but that hour threw things out of whack. My jaw muscles spasm and tighten easily now, and it hurts like hell.

Also, because I'm curious, what kind of surgery? Root canal, pulled wisdom teeth, pulled other teeth, what?
