Anyone else doing spring cleaning?

I've raked hay out of the dog lot, scrubbed down the dog houses and the back outside wall of my cabin, scrubbed down the porch, my bike, the plastic cover that goes over my bike, pulled all the furniture and shelves out in the yard and hosed them off, including the bird and rabbit cage, gone through all my clothes and knick-knacks and gotten together what I don't use for good-will, swept/mopped/vaccumed cabin while furniture was in the yard (I don't have much furniture), washed the walls and moldings. I need to do windows. Oh, and just for the white trash effect I fixed the holes that my cockatiel chewed into the screen on my screen porch with good ol' Alabama chrome (duct tape, even though this kind is black and I did a very neat job of it so it looks better than it sounds).

I have a feeling I won't be able to move tomorrow.

I need the inspiration. God, do I need to clean. I did start on the porch last night...

One of the glories of teaching is that you catch whatever the students have, when they come up to you to tell you, "I'm not going to be able to stay for class today because...."

Flu shot? Check.

Any kind of prophylactic that will keep stomach viruses at bay? Not invented yet. :cry:

raking old mulch off - windows, crack patching on walls, ..you name I will be doing it.

I am tired already.

it is hard not to procrastinate but there is no better feeling when you are done and everything is so clean. :)

Fortunately, my place is in great shape. Just have to do the floors and bathroom.

Today I bought a mop. I'm not sure what it says about me that I'm 44 years old and I didn't have a mop.
All right, we all know what it says about me. :rofl:


Also, I bought a curtain rod. In honor of my parents, I will no longer be holding up the kitchen curtains with old vegetable peelers.

If any of you point out that so far my cleaning sounds a lot like shopping, I am putting you on Ignore.

Along with one or two other things. :rofl:

I need to decide what I'm going to plant.
