Tennessee Legislature Postpones Resolution Honoring Justin Timberlake
<snip>

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- As far as Republicans are concerned, pop superstar Justin Timberlake can take his sexy back to Memphis.

Or anywhere but the state Legislature, where senators postponed a resolution honoring him Thursday.

State Sen. Raymond Finney removed Timberlake from a list of resolutions that is expected to get unanimous support in the Senate.

"It's not something I want my name on," Finney said.

Republican senators took issue with sections of the resolution that call attention to Timberlake's latest album, "FutureSex/LoveSounds" and to song titles like "SexyBack" and "Rock Your Body."

Finney raised his objections in a Republican caucus meeting.
