if you call the number on the sides of most product packaging (incl. cigs)

and complain about product quality, they will send you coupons for free product.

phillip morris at one time would send coupons for cartons of cigarettes if you wrote a letter to the address on the sides of packs of marlboros. they have since discontinued this practice and only send 5 packs, but now you have to give your SSN.

5. Sometimes it works well...

I like the Green Giant frozen veggies in sauces; but I once got a bag that just didn't taste right. It might have been defrosted then refrozen or something like that. I called the number and got vouchers for 2 free bags.
