Marshal resigns after asking psychic about fire chief

MIDDLETON, Wis. (AP) -- A Middleton fire marshal asked the wrong employment
questions to a psychic.

Nine months after being placed on administrative leave, Tom Weber has
resigned after consulting with an online psychic on department computers.

Weber, a 22-year veteran, wanted to know if he or others would be successful
in getting rid of Fire Chief Aaron Harris.
