Ouch! The list hit me in the gut this year.
I'm sure it's been posted before since it came out in the fall for the freshman class matriculating in 2006, but I finally got around to reading it in its entirety. It's been a few years since I perused the list. I think I'm now officially in a gender gap with college kids. Oy!

Some of the ones that really got to me.

Ringo Starr has always been clean and sober.
Professional athletes have always competed in the Olympics.
Disneyland has always been in Europe and Asia.
They have always known that "In the criminal justice system the people have been represented by two separate yet equally important groups."
Reality shows have always been on television. (Blech!)
They have never had to distinguish between the St. Louis Cardinals baseball and football teams.
A coffee has always taken longer to make than a milkshake.
Smoking has never been permitted on U.S. airlines.
There has always been only one Germany.
The Soviet Union has never existed and therefore is about as scary as the student union.

I don't believe this one! My kids still do it and they won't be going to college for quite a few more years.

They never played the game of state license plates in the car.
