Can you help me to find a book? Please?

This was a book that I read in first grade and it was mostly pictures. I can't remember what it was called. But I remember it was about animals. They were in a garden at night. And one kind of animal was singing a song, and it was making the snails sad, because the song said that all snails looked the same. Then the animals went and had a party. And at the end it said that the way to find the animals was to look at the moon through a red handkerchief, and it would wink at you. Then you could go out and dance with them. I think the title started with a 'B'.
