It was on the front of a local NBC station's website, but is now gone and all traces of it have been removed!

6. Middle schoolers (sixth grade I believe)

They even had a pic of a Pepsi and some hand sanitizer (I saw it about 6:00 this morning). Now it is all gone.

Four Petersburg students are facing felony charges for allegedly putting hand sanitizer in a teacher's drink.

This investigation stems from an incident at Peabody Middle School on Friday, March 23. Petersburg police tell 8News a sixth-grade teacher left her classroom and, when she returned, she noticed her opened can of Pepsi had a funny smell. We're told students eventually admitted to squirting liquid hand sanitizer in it.

A school resource officer is involved and will be going before the Juvenile Courts Services Unit to talk with the students about the charges.

8News is told the students involved are ages eleven, twelve and fourteen.
