This is me and my then GF in upstate New York in fall of '96. She'd just started grad school at SUNY New Paltz, and we were still kind of happy. Three months later, she left me for her women's studies prof.



This is the first car I bought with my own money. The flame job was done by a friend of mine's older brother who had an airbrushing business, and he did it gratis as a birthday present. In hindsight, a flamejob on a powder blue '85 Civic hatchback wasn't such a grand idea, but it didn't matter anymore after I totalled it.

This is me with Mark E. Smith, during the week I was a member of the Fall. We recorded and released three albums that week.



This is me at age 3, hot-footing Nixon. The Secret Service just let it go, since beating up a toddler would have just been an avalanche of bad PR for the president, who by then was already drowning in shit.
