Have you ever gotten an email by mistake?
i just got one from my sister, it was an ongoing chain about something and she replied to my father and i got what she sent to him. Anyhow i'm sitting here a little bit pissed off and i can't decide if i should call her or just leave it alone.

1. Yes
Someone I was working on a project with sent me an email meant for her hubby.

Nothing too raunchy (bah!), but it was obviously in 'theirspeak'.

2. Oh, yes
When my SO and I were first together and he was completely computer illiterate. He used the computer to send a message to someone on a singles site and they wrote back - little did my SO know that the default email was mine and so this extremely suggestive email to him came into my inbox.

Those were interesting times.

4. Yes...
several... our e-mail at work is done by first letter of first name and last name usually, however, when there is more than one person with that last name they may go to the first two letters of the first name and last name... so I get e-mail sometimes for s_____ instead of st_____ and visa versa. Although for some reason it happens more often to s_____ than me :P :dunce:

I've also sent the wrong e-mail to the wrong person, even once here the wrong PM to the wrong person :dunce:

smooth SPK

:hi:

5. My friend Aaron sent me all his banking info.
He accidentally Carbon Copied the email to me when the message was for his dad. I let him know so he would be more careful in the future. And then I bought a new bike..

I would give it a couple of days... If you are still pissed in two days call her.

6. i just emailed her back, i did a new one and asked about what she sent my father
and why, now i'm waiting for the response or the phone call and i really hope there is a reasonable explanation for they were talking about because if there isn't things aren't going to go well.

11. This last Monday
One of the members of my violin section emailed to say she was sick, and would not be attending rehearsal. She apparently sent the same e-mail to her mother; because I later received a cc of an e-mail her mom sent to her, which said, "Does this mean you aren't coming for dinner tonight?"

Busted!!!

I sent an e-mail to the violinist asking if I could have her dinner if she wasn't going to eat it.
