I got sent home early from work today...

I work 11am to 9pm and got sent home at 3pm! There is a fire in the Hollywood Hills and the smoke was getting in our building so they sent us home.

When I went to get my car, I could see the fire -- it was about 100 yards from our building on the opposite side of the road.

4. I'm pretty sure our building is fine. The fire was across a four lane road and

up the hill. It was pretty strange to see it so close, though.

I'm not sure if they have it contained -- I'll have to watch the news.
