8. Start a thread: "I did X, ask me ANYTHING"
Actually, I'll prolly not have to worry about it, but if I do have to be here, it'll be following in my father's footsteps after Nixon won in 1972 - drinking and swearing

13. Hmmm...
...if Bush wins in 2004, then the following day (and also for the 4 months preceding it) I'll hopefully be in Canada. The question is whether the U of Toronto and the U of BC present enough grad school opportunities.

16. Continue to resist the right and smell the roses
Hey, Life isn't all about Bush and Co. I have a lot more going for me than that. If Bush were to be re-elected than it is just that much closer until the day comes that people hurt bad enough to stop doing it to themselves and finally through these bums out.

Gandhi said, "When I despair I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they can seem invincible but in the end they always fall. Think of it. Always!"

18. Go into a deep depression for a few weeks, then
grit my teeth and vow to fight even harder in 2008 against whatever the Republican Party comes up with. As tempting as it would be to move to another country and as much as I cannot stand what Bush is doing to this country, there is hope in that Bush can only be in office until January 2009. If we could put up with Nixon and Reagan and (eventually) recover, we can live through Bush II. Plus, as corny as it sounds, I love the United States (even before September 11th) and no pseudo-cowboy is going to force me out of not only the only home I've ever known, but away from my family and friends as well.
