I'm getting grief trying to post a link here--my computer won't cut and paste anymore!!!!
...Is anyone else having a problem cutting and pasting links and text these days??? My little internet explorer toolbars were working just fine, when all of a sudden they quit functioning! Is Mercury back in retrograde or something?

LIsten, I know there are some good geeks out there that can advise me how to solve this problem. Any suggestions?

PS...the link I wanna post is from MSNBC and AP: it reads PROTESTERS PELT ROVE.

Dontcha think it's worth it for me to get past this issue???

:argh: :argh: :argh:

1. My dear pink-o...
I've never had a problem such as yours......

So I can't help you directly!

But at least I can kick this thread back up where someone knowledgable might see it!

Good luck!

:kick:

2. I've had those problems before.
Here's the solution:
Smash head on keyboard then dropkick monitor to continue. Just joking.

The only thing that ever worked for me was rebooting the computer. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will answer you soon so I'll know the answer too.

3. A reboot is the "Microsoft solution"
and cures 99-44/100% of all of Window's ills. Try highlighting and using <Ctrl> C to copy and <Ctrl> V to paste instead of the mouse.

4. Amateur,
you obviously know nothing about a pc.

A reboot cures 100% of Windows problems. And I'll have you know I have years of experience with Windows to know that.

6. No, a reboot will not cure
the fact that it is bloated, buggy, and security hole plagued Microsoft software. I've been doing this since 1983. Who's the new kid on the block? :)

5. Well, maybe I'll try a LITERAL reboot...
...with a thigh-high dominatrix patent leather boot!!!!

It might not work but it would make me feel better. Anyway, I'll try the control key and see if I have some satisfaction. In the meantime, I bet someone has already posted the Karl Rove being pelted with veggies. Maybe there's even a video....

One can dream, right?

BTW thanx for all the advice. I love it all!
