I think I'm going to go into business designing handbags
I've been looking for a new bag for weeks now and there's just nothing out there. They're ugly, for one thing and they're all stupidly designed. The majority of them, for some reason, are secured by nothing more than one snap - and it's not a very sturdy snap. Oh, they have a couple of smaller pockets closed by zippers but the main, largest part is closed by this stupid snap. Why would I want to put my stuff into something that doesn't really close?

Ladies' wallets are just as bad. Terrible designs. People carry a lot of plastic these days and I think especially women. There's no room in these wallets for more than a couple of cards. Well, hell, I have my debit card as well as a few credit cards. I also have a number of savings cards from the grocery store, the bookstore, the pet shop, etc. My library card is a plastic credit card type. It can't be that difficult to design something that can hold a bit more.

I think if I'm going to find something I like, I'm going to have to design my own. :nuke:

4. Oh, yes I would
I've been looking everywhere and it seems like the uglier they are, the more they cost.

2. Not only that but
most of them are pretty ugly, too. I often wish I had taken as much an interest in sewing as I did cooking.

6. Exactly!
I don't either but there's no way it will fit into what's available. Right now, I'm carrying two - a regular billfold type with my insurance card and savings cards and that sort of thing and the checkbook type with my credit cards. It's silly.

5. I've thought about doing that to,
however, I already have enough hobbies!!!

I think womens purses and wallets are designed by guys...guys who refuse to listen to women!
