I am such a baby

I have a root canal appointment at 1:30. I am really worked up about it. I think I'm going to borrow a xanax from my sister and take it just after I arrive. I should be fine for the drive home, because I will be in the chair for a couple of hours.

It's not the pain, I have a pretty good tolerance. I just hate getting serious dental work done. It freaks me out.

1. Believe me, root canals are a piece of cake.

The dentist will numb you up so that you won't feel a thing. I have had two root canals and they were preferable and less painful than some of the other dental work I've had done.

3. Make sure you get enough Novocaine.

If you feel anything, wave your hand and make noise.

I sometimes need two or three shots.
( high tolerance and all).

Good luck, you'll be OK.

Afterwords, please take some Tylenol before the
Novocaine wears off.
