Gray & white tabbies are my absolute favorites. It's going to be very hard to say goodbye to her.

Mama and many of her cousins are tortoiseshell calicos or dilute torties. This little gray girl is the most diluted tortie I've ever seen.

6. Mama is EXTREMELY pissed
We've begun taking the kittens out every evening. We have to socialize them or we won't be able to find them homes. She is NOT happy about it!!

She did it when she was five weeks old, and I think she remembers.

When we moved them back into the closet last night, I hung around in the room... she ran up onto the bed (where we handled the babies) and sat there lest I get any closer to the closet. Once I tried to reach out to pet her, and she ran at me like she was going to jump on my face. :yoiks:

badass momma, too. Kittens just make me melt.

Will Skittles let you get close enough now to nab her, to get her spayed? She looks like she at least doesn't freak out in your presence. We've got a few feral males around here whom I desperately want to have snipped, but they are so terrified of me I can't get within 50 feet of them. I have a trap, but it's been so darn cold here I haven't used it yet...

got a poll thread going on the subject.

When it warms up and you can trap, be sure to cover the trap. They'll freak a lot less if it's covered.
