No I haven't done RAGBRAI. If I had that much spare time I'm not sure I'd go to Iowa.

There's something to be said for solitude, alone with only your thoughts and whatever songs are playing in your mental jukebox, and in case you were wondering the song going through my head when I took this photo was Alejandro Escovedo's Sometimes.

I understand. Kind of a loner anyhow, but all my sports are loner sports.

I love to run and bike and kayak. I love tennis and racquetball too, but they are really all only one against another.

23. My favorite river trips were with groups
A dozen people, a dozen dogs and enough beer to drown in. There are no pics of those since we weren't dumb enough to bring cameras in canoes that tended to tip over. Instead here's a pic of me kayaking in the exact approximate spot where Blackbeard was killed

5. I can perform vasectomies with one hand and feed my dog gas-X
with the other... but most of my patients prefer I use the right hand to do the vasectomy if I'm going to be pilling the dog with the left at the same time. :evilgrin:
