sucks: my 'new' boss is probably a 'pub.

maybe not, but... anyway, my old boss just retired, and I thought the was great. Now her boss is running our department temporarily, and while the old boss was the 'work up through the ranks' type that knew her stuff and everyone respected, the new one is business speak, management school, new to the industry. Anyway, I don't care as long as she can do the job, so whatever.

BUT today in a meeting, we started talking about the weather (she's in Michigan) and she said "it's so cold! what happened to Global Warming?!?" and then went on about how Carter used to say there would be global cooling, etc. I could be wrong, but it was typical talking points, and I am sick of hearing the ignorance.

Anyway... just thought I'd rant. thanks. Fingers are crossed for a cool new boss!
