I've got the worst job.......not

Tonight I have to watch a bartender at a trendy downtown bar for 4 to 6 hours. I will be paid and forced to sit at the bar and drink and flirt with the other bartenders. I'm not a narc, but as a weird side note, the client wants to know if I can score some stuff off of any of the other bartenders. Who's paying me...the owner of the bar. Great, now I need to start sipping a beer to get something into my system before 9P tonight.
Oh damn, life sucks, but we must struggle through somehow.

(btw, I am a private investigator)

I write a music column for an altweekly. I'm forced to go out to bars and clubs all the time. It's a real burden.
