About two inches sticking to the ground here in Warrensburg right now. It began snowing a little after six but didn't stick until about 8.

2. A friend said nothing in Independence
at 8 pm. We were supposed to be on the low end (less than an inch) but once again, Warrensburg is taking all the precip from everyone around.

8. Warrensburg doesn't even go under the advisory
until 10, same as you. If we have to wait for that we're in trouble.

Blizzard conditions too, shutting I-35 for awhile. Awful late for snow even in Iowa.

7. I have a friend in Danville.
He is asking for regular updates here-wants to know if it's more intense than originally stated. So far it is.

9. The weather guy on channel 2 St Louis news
said the computer models were slow and that the snow is appearing in places now when the computer models said it wasn't supposed to appear until 7AM tomorrow. That is frightening!

10. It wasn't supposed to appear in
Warrensburg until after midnight and then it was supposed to be less than an inch. Right now I'd call it at three and it's still going strong. The ground is covered, as are the trees.

16. And it's already melted here.
Just enough to make a nice slushy mess.

18. I'd say it was three inches
in Warrensburg. Most of it had melted by noon and there's nothing left now.
