What's going on is highly illogical, to say the very least.

5. If hypocritical means discrimination
based on sex, gender, age, race, etc. then perhaps. But I'd call the unemployment office and ask first. Or for example if your shift hours have been drastically changed, yes you can claim UB.

But also know that your boss or who ever can treat you like absolute crap as long as they're not discriminating against you based on one of the protected civil rights.
