Need help with DVD movie (technical)
I just rented a dvd movie and I can't figure out how to turn off the directors commentary. I tried various options but they don't seem to work. Can anyone help?

1. Go back to the menu.
There is usually an option to just watch the movie straight out, or watch with director's commentary. Give that a try.

2. Two possible solutions.
Go to the menu. Go to "subtitles" or "commentary." Pick the one you want.

Press the "sound" or "language" button on your remote control. Keep pushing it until it reaches the language/ commentary you want.

3. I doubt I could help with this question..
But, you might get a good answer if you told us the brand of your DVD player.. And what DVD you are trying to play. More info is better than not enough.

5. I"m not sure how you would do this with your particular dvd playe but...
You just need to change the audio track that's playing. There should be a button on your remote to do that. There are a few audio tracks, so just find the English 5.1 or English stereo track (it'll tell you on screen usually) and you're set. But you should also be able to play the movie without the commentary through the dvd menu itself. Should be an oiption to turn it off in the special features section of the disc.
