I have not be watching the news since yesterday.

I just can't stand this wall to wall death that the news gives us.

My thoughts are with the the dead and their family and friends.

I just can't take the news anymore.

2. I went to my favorite BBQ place to pick up some food and the tv was on.

There was a long line so I had to listen to about 10 minutes of news, that was enough for me.
