Every time I mention that I don't care for her music someone, usually female, responds "WHAT!!! I can't believe you don't like Tori Amos!!!" I have nothing against her she's is quite talented and all but it's just not my thing. But it seems that She's one of those artists that everyone HAS to like and if you don't there's something wrong with you. Her fans are more than a bit obsessive in their devotion to her.
but it's not just women who are a tad obsessive about her. my ex-boyfriend used to get really irritated when i'd ask him if we could listen to something else after he'd play one of her cds three times in a row

You should hear/read how much shit I get when I tell people that RATM and Tool just don't do it for me. Someone actually put me on ignore here because of this . . . and meant it. Jesus, who the hell is THAT headstrong about a rock group?
