6. I have to "stay off the injury" for a few more days.
Edited on Wed Apr-18-07 01:08 PM by arbusto_baboso
And before I can stop using condoms with Mrs. Arbusto, they need to check me every few weeks, to make sure things are "clear".

10. Your friend has nothing to worry about.
I've honestly had kicks to my groin that hurt far worse than I feel now.

And of course, the surgery itself is painless, due to anesthetic.

8. did it hurt?
were you awake during the "procedure"?
how long are you out of action?
how much does it cost, for those of us without insurance?

16. In order...
No, the procedure itself was painless. The recovery has been uncomfortable, but I expected worse.

I'll be out of action for another few days at least.

Couldn't tell you what the uninsured cost would be. But my insurance had a $100 co-pay

But worth every penny.

The funniest bit is, I'm a Desert Storm vet and THIS is what made my wife say that I no longer have anything to prove to her about manliness!

35. It's a simpler deal for us men, which is why I did it.
Didn't want my wife to have to go through the much more complicated and dangerous surgery women have to have for the same results.

I never thought putting ice on my crotch would be something I'd enjoy. Not without being tied-up first, anyway.

26. My wife has a neice who conceived after her hubbie was snipped...
Seems the dumbshit never went back to the doc to have his sperm levels checked.

I won't be making any of those mistakes.

29. The sad irony is....
While I got this done so I could have unbridled hot monkey sex with the missus, right now sex is a purely academic concern to me.

And yet, I've been awakening to "morning wood" every day since the procedure.

Bizarre.

32. Take it easy and keep an icebag handy!
I knew a guy that insisted on mowing the lawn the weekend after a Friday vasectomy. His nutsack swelled up like grapefruit!! You don't want that to happen!!

Also, beware of children jumping in you lap knees first ... trust me on this one!
