39. Yup!!!

The pain travels from my lower back, up into the right neck and shoulder, and then the whole right side of my head. I had to put a pillow over my head and take a nap when I got off of work to block out sound and light. The worse part is that my neck and back both feel like they want to "crack". But they won't.

In that case I can wait. It would mean that I continue to get paid at my pre-9/11 captain's salary (which, actually, is paid until I die .. but as long as I am subject to returning to work from my LTD, I am subject to drug testing). My LTD benefit is a good example of why a good union is indispensable (ALPA/AFL-CIO). But once I sever the tie, I want to at least TRY pot (wink .. cough .. wink again).

BTW: The last joint I had was with a former-President's son-in-law (9/71), before he became a senator from Virginia. He was in Viet Nam (again), on a fact-finding tour. I was in my last week before DEROS, and had no flying duties. I closed the bar every night that week .. and Chuck and I closed it at about 4 am that night. Ironically, I had to piss in the bottle a few days later before I boarded the Freedom Bird from Saigon. I sweated that, but in retrospect WTF could they do about a 90% positive THC test rate among the departing LIVE troops?

until people were talking about it here...and at the school where my wife was today.

so I don't know the significance of 4/20

I'm doing pretty good, not enough outside, but it's supposed to be nice this weekend I think, 70's and more. Soccer tomorrow morning.

Work meh, it's there.... well I don't know if there is a coinkydink about the Earth Day and this new holiday on me.

85. Are you in Amsterdam for real?

I couldn't visit the Netherlands my first time to Europe, but Amsterdam is first on the list for next time. I'm all but there, physically...:beer:
