1. I'll spare the obvious bad joke about my linguini...

I had (*chortle*) an imitation crabmeat sandwich and grilled green beans. :9 Imitation crabmeat is pollack fish - low in cholesterol and fat and darn tootin' tasty too.

11. a few years ago it was better, never great but then again i didn't expect great.
now it's just gone done hill. My daughter and i alwas end up at the greek place or the Thai place so we decided that for a change we'd go to the macaroni grill--"Mom we need to stick with locally owned places, way better" and she is right.

18. Same thing happened with Spaghetti Warehouse.
It used to great, now it's rubbish. I wouldn't eat there if I were starving and it were free.

27. i've never heard of hear, i'll look it up. We have Buca di Beppo but it's a bit of
a drive. All the really good places are downtown and usually a bit dressy so when it's just my daughter and i we stay local and super casual.

29. For dessert,
I stuck with a couple of little Milky Ways.

Your selections sound a bit like the book I am reading...The Cabinet of Curiosities by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.
